COMMISSIONS
I create fine art portraits of a wide variety of pets and wildlife, using high quality oil paints and charcoal. All paintings are presented on high quality canvas and drawings can be mounted by request.

Sizes start from A3 up to much larger works, however this depends on the subject and budget.

I aim to create artwork that you are thrilled with and can admire in your home for years to come.
The Process
If you are looking to commission a painting from me, here is how it works:

Get in touch via phone or email

We can discuss your requirements and I can give you a price and an approximate timescale

I will ask for you to send me some photos, which we will then discuss and pick the best one for me to base your painting on. Please read my photography guide before sending photos.

Before I start painting I will ask for a £50 deposit to cover the cost of materials.

Then I will get on with painting. It is up to you whether you want to be kept updated with photos of my progress- some people like the final painting to be a surprise!

When the painting is complete I will send you final photographs to make sure you are happy. I am always open to making changes at any point throughout the painting.

If you are happy with the painting I will request payment and the painting is yours!
Photography
I cannot emphasise enough how important a good quality photo is. The better the photo I have to work from, the more detail and life I can get into the artwork.

For group portraits I can easily work off individual photos of each subject.
