We are all surrounded by a struggle between good and evil. There are strangers that we may pass in the street that may have committed evil, such as murder. However many of us go about our daily lives oblivious to this evil, reading bad news in the newspaper as entertainment or turning a blind eye.

This series of monoprints and abstract paintings aim to comment on the hidden violence in society and the struggle related to this. The monoprints aim to give the idea of walking through a crowd of strangers, where you will recognise one or two and realise the connection between all of the faces. In this moment you realise the fear and anger you should feel towards these people. The abstract paintings then portray the struggle of negative emotions that the viewer may feel towards the subjects in my monoprint series.
